Dr. Sheerin Shah, has done graduation from Govt. medical college, Patiala. In the last year of MBBS, she could realise her special interest in surgical specialties. She joined MS surgery in DMCH Ludhiana. After clearing MS surgery she did her superspecialization in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery from the same esteemed institute, Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana. She topped the university in MCh final exam. She later did her training in Cosmetic Surgery with Dr. M. Thakur at Putnam Hospital, Yorktown, New York; Dr. Rhee, Hunginton, New York; Dr Ameet, Poughkeepsie, New York. She went to Cleveland Clinic, Ohio for her observership in Plastic and cosmetic surgery. She also did her Hair transplantation training from one of the pioneer's in India, Dr. Vasa, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

She has attended many national and international Conferences. Her work is published in many leading journals both national and international. She is well skilled for all Plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery procedures like a tummy tuck, breast reshaping, liposuction, rhinoplasty, vaginal rejuvenation and scar removal. She has also had experience in burn corrective surgeries, varicose veins, maxillofacial and microsurgery.
She believes that surgery is not only what a surgeon does in Operation theater but what he or she does before and after surgery. Empathy, compassion and dedication for a patient are very important tools for early healing. In her hands, the patient care is personal and very compassionate. She is honest about guiding her patient about need or no need for surgery. She believes that a good surgeon must always know when not to operate.
Being one of the first lady plastic surgeons in Ludhiana, her special interests are in breast reshaping, tummy tucks and nose surgery.
